At the age of 21, I emigrated to what was then Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe. It was here that I first started painting and encountered oil paints and their wonderful buttery consistency.
Painting African wildlife is a subject very close to my heart. Returning from Rhodesia I married and became sales director of an international company which enabled me to travel the world and become more aware of scenes and subjects to paint. Consequently, I enjoy painting virtually every subject including portraits.
I undertake commissions and paint in oils on canvas or panel. Painting and exhibiting now form an important aspect of my life.
