Kay Smith

About the Artist

Elected to the Guild in October 2024, Kay trained in technical illustration and design in the late 1980's. Her early career took her away from the drawing board and onto computers. Working on brochure design and then web design and programming. She completed a MSc in multimedia whist in full time employment. A change in career path moved her away from the ever changing computer programming languages.

Returning to art in 2016, Kay now paints in a wide range of mediums, from pen & wash, watercolour, acrylic and even oils. Kay says that Art has again become an important part of life. She enjoys being part of the local art groups, painting with like minded people.
