Wendy Howard

About the Artist

Wendy started painting in her forties, with a beginners’ course in watercolour. This boosted her into joining local art groups (including the Guild's workshops) and seeking further tuition. It was thrilling to achieve occasional sales and commissions, and her favourite subjects continue to feature Hebridean and local landscapes, slightly wild florals and birds, and family ‘moments’, inspired by personal photographs. Currently, space is a limitation, so producing greetings cards from her pictures works well. Wendy is also loving discovering the freedom of acrylics, and is constantly aware that there is still stacks to learn across many media. Thank you for your interestin Wendy's work.
